| After reading the bible and thinking about how much people god has killed I came up with an estimated number 2,477,633, which, of course, greatly underestimated. I didn't even bother trying to figure out the death toll of Noah's flood, sodom and Gommarah, or many plagues,Famines,Etc, with which the good book is filled with. Still 2 million is a respectable amount even for world class killers. But how does this compare with Satan? Well I was only able to find 10, and even these he shares with god, since god allowed him to do it as part of a bet. I'm talking about the 7 sons and 3 sought era of job.
So how is our god a killer of millions, while Satan is the bad guy.
Perhaps we're worshipping the greater evil? The only proof of Satan being evil is gods word. |

| Satan gets you to the point where you just kill yourself, or to where to kill someone else. So if you count those, his death toll maybe higher. |

| If you read the bible, Corinthians 15 to be exact, death itself came into the world because of sin.(thesis of Adam in the Garden of Eden). the great message of the Bible, however, is that God sent his only son, Jesus, to die on a cross and in doing so the debt of the world's sin are paid. (Philippians 2:7-9, and everyones favorite, John 3:16) |

| Why did god give us free will, if by using it we hurt and kill our selves and others. Is it not like giving a baby a razor blade and then blaming it when it cuts itself? It sounds a little bit perverse to me.
God gets mad when you sin, but he's the one who allows you to sin? |

God gets mad when you sin, but he's the one who allows you to sin? Satan is the one who makes you sin, not god. |

| This issue can be summed up by considering what the Bible has to say about death. The introduction of sin into a perfect environment (i.e., the "fall" in Genesis) also introduced death. Ultimately, the very face that mankind can die is a result of Satan's work, therefore all death results from him. Even deaths that are attributed to god- anthropomorphically, of course -are results of sin, and thus only righteous judgement on God's part. |

| Stan doesn't have the power to kill people, but to induce them to kill themselves, or to kill others, including their families. Stan is the one who tells you to do those things, but you are the one that takes the action.
That's the reason why satan only has 10 kills in the bible.
Satan's most dangerous power is to fool people's minds. |

| Since god created the entire universe and everything in it he has the right to kill anything or anyone he wants too. |

So what do you agree with abortion? Most christians I know are against it. Honestly, god sounds like a ****.(No offense) He's a mass murderer, anyone who associates themselves with a mass murderer is no better. God also makes pointless rules just to **** with people. It's all a game for him. He punished humanity because someone ate an apple? Are you seriouse? To me it sounds like Satan is the good guy, and he was standing up to gods injustice. But was way over his head. I do believe a lot of the bible is great, I've read it twice and so far I love the morals behind it. But I don't actually believe in god. If he is real, I think he'd be a ****. |

| I really have nothing to say to this. Other than my believes.
I also don't believe in a god. I think god is a just a sense of hope, and morals.(Which is a great)
I don't believe there is an all knowing being who created us out there. I'm sorry but I don't. I do love religion though, I think it's a great thing I just can't believe in it.
It's hard to explain really.
Anyways this topic is actually pretty interesting. But it seems like it's escalating and is not really going anywhere.
I'm going to lock this thread. |
