Ok so I listen to a lot of christian metal bands. And my uncles and aunts think i'm some satanist for it. They're all overly christian baptists who would hassle me over anything. What are your opinions on this?

I think they're just overreacting. As you said they're overly christian baptists. IMO theirs no such thing as an overly christian. You can't ever be to close to god. But some things you just have to relax about. I know some sweet christian metal bands which really are wonderful!

For instance this band here "the devil wears prada"



The title of the song is "Born To Loose" which is saying we are all born sinners. And the first verse is saying no idols.


The band is obviously christian. Adults just may not like the music.

Well music does influence people heavily. Maybe they think you're going to walk around start wearing black, killing cats, and performing witchcraft.

They obviously just don't like the music and never took the time to listen to the lyrics.
Just ignore them and try not to listen to it around them.

If people don't like the music theirs no reason to play it in front of them. Use headphones or don't play it at all.
