Hello:All
I have created a website that validates with the w3c 100% and looks great in all of the major browsers, However when I view the site in internet expolorer 6 the entire page is whacked out. The header is pushed down. The left side (that is floated:left) is aligned with the header and the main content side to the right is pushed down like 1000px??
I was researching that it would be easier to tell my viewers to upgrade to at least ie8 instead of the ugly hacks to resolve the issues with the older browsers.
I need a code that I could place on my web pages that when it detects ie 6 it goes to a seperate html page that advises them to upgrade to at least ie8 or the site will not display properly.
Can anyone assist me with the above. Also where is the code placed within the pages?

I dont know which validator you were using, but I ran it through the validator and got 11 errors.

Look under the Layout section, maybe dbl margin float bug, float drops or 3px gap would be the first bugs to check.
