First off I'm new here so, hello! I apologize if there is already a thread identical to this on the forums (I did not see one). Last year at my school I took a course of C++ but recently I heard of the newer C#. I have a few questions:
If C# is a newer version of the C language I'm assuming its a higher level language than C ++, or is that incorrect? And high level languages are better for quickly writing up larger programs whereas programs written in lower level languages tend to run more efficiently?
Would it be more beneficial to learn C# or C ++? Or is the answer to that simply dependent on my goals as a programmer?
Thank you.
